Product Details
Retinax has been specially formulated with a precise blend of ocular-enhancing nutrients to promote visual clarity and eye health. Each ingredient has been carefully selected and assayed for purity and potency, and blended together in an easy-to-swallow and easy-to-digest gelatin capsule.
-Bilberry Extract has been reported to help relieve eye fatigue. Age related macular degeneration (ARMD) is an ailment characterized by the degeneration of the macular of the retina of the eye caused by the death of the rods. It is estimated that 25% of all people above age 65 and 33% of all people above age75 are afflicted with at least the beginning of ARMD.
Bilberry's active bioflavonoid compounds, anthocyanosides, act as an antioxidant in the retina of the eye. This makes it a potential preventive measure against macular degeneration. Bilberry has also been shown to strengthen capillaries and reduce hemorrhaging in the retina.
-Lutein has been reported to help to prevent ARMD, and is a strong antioxidant in the carotenoid family. These carotenoids, found in high concentrations in spinach and kale, concentrate in the part of the retina where macular degeneration strikes. Once there, they protect the retina from damage caused by sunlight.
-Vitamin A improves the health of the eyes. Scientific research has shown that night blindness can occur as a result of vitamin A deficiency. Of particular significance is the role of Vitamin A that inhibits the degeneration of the retina of the eye, associated with retinopathy.
-N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a potent antioxidant and it deactivates hydrogen peroxide free radicals and hydroxyl free radicals.
The natural non-toxic compounds making up this formula have had substantial research to back up its efficacy. Each component is carefully blended to achieve optimum eye heath by preventing oxidation in the eye, especially the retina. Adult macular degeneration is the number one cause of blindness in those over age 65. This blend of eye-specific nutrients enhances eye health and helps prevent this disease.
This formulation is made under the close scrutiny our FDA-approved manufacturer that is cGMP Certified by the NNFA (National Nutritional Foods Association) and has a drug license to manufacture pharmaceuticals to ensure purity, potency, and consistency.
