An enlarged prostate causes frequent urination as well as a decrease in the force of urination stream. Saw Palmetto has been used in Europe for many years in the treatment of benign prostatis hyperplasia. It alleviates enlarged prostate by inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and by blocking the attachment of dihydrotestosterone to cellular binding sites.

The following nutrients have been combined in the Men's Health Formula for optimal prostate support:

Saw Palmetto helps when there is an enlarged prostate to reduce pain and inflammation. Many double blind placebo controlled scientific studies have been conducted with positive results.

Pygeum reduces inflammation and swelling of the prostate due to the water accumulation of the prostate. It inhibits the activities of aromatase, the enzymes that are implicated in the development of the enlarged prostate.

Nettle root and pumpkin seed are effective adjuncts to saw palmetto for the treatment of an enlarged prostate as they enhance the function of saw palmetto.

Within a few days of taking this, my husband noticed a huge difference!  The urge to urinate dropped dramatically and he said he felt like a normal human again.  Where it was previously difficult to go anywhere in public because of his frequent restroom visits, the Male Formula turned all that around and now he says he can even "hold it" if he needs to.
